This group was formed to provide an alternative for flighted parrot owners; however, all parrots are welcome. We encourage the practice of flighted parrot ownership and hope to teach and promote this healthy outlet.

Many people do not feel that their parrot is fully provided for, without the ability to fly. Others feel their parrots are fine, but still wonder if there’s more they could be doing.

You can bring your parrots here.

We’ll have ‘scheduled’ flights and probably unscheduled flights too!

We believe flying will enrich your parrot’s life both emotionally and physically.

This is a private club and attendance is by invitation/sponsorship only!

Coffee and tea will be provided but we encourage you to bring some munchies, if you can.

Let’s get back to basics and enjoy each other and enjoy our parrots.

April's meeting:
  • was well received
  • Different faces
  • Different stories
  • Still No politics
  • No hassles
  • More sharing for behaviourial problems and some food tips
With the exception of my birdsitter, everyone brought their parrot. It was wonderful to see all the parrots out of their cages, roaming about on the table and their people. After a little while they all seemed quite relaxed.

We had 1 flight, without incident.

All the parrots were of the 'smaller' category, so it worked out nicely. The birds mingled and explored.

Again all parrots had the opportunity to socialize with people and parrots other than their own flock.

The munchies arrived late, but were still appreciated. The reason for the delayed food was the golf game, yes, Tiger won!

The gathering was a success.
Everyone took part in the clean up, thank you all.

*NOTE* Due to Mother's Day and our committment to not interfere with the 'other' parrot club meetings, our gathering will be held May 22nd.
See you all then. Bring a friend, if you like, but please remember to let me know first ;)
